Terms of service

These terms cover your use of thesoftspotco.com and anything you buy from it. The site is operated by The Soft Spot Co, a sole proprietorship based in Arizona, United States. By placing an order you agree to what is written here.

Who can order

You need to be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, and you need a shipping address in the United States. We do not ship anywhere else.

Orders

An order is an offer to buy, not a completed sale. We can decline or cancel one, and if we do we refund you in full and tell you why. Reasons this happens: the item is genuinely out of stock, the price or description was wrong, or the order looks fraudulent.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the address you enter. See the shipping policy for what happens when an address is wrong.

Prices and payment

Prices are in United States dollars and do not include sales tax, which is calculated at checkout based on where the order ships. Shipping is free on every order.

We can change prices at any time. A change never affects an order already placed.

Payment is taken when you place the order. We do not store your card details. Payment is handled by Shopify's payment processor.

Returns and refunds

Our refund policy is the complete and only returns policy for this store, and it controls over anything else written on this site, including this page.

The short version: within 30 days of delivery, email us and we will refund you, and you do not have to send anything back. Read the refund policy for the full terms.

Products, photographs and colors

We describe every product as accurately as we can. Screens vary, fabric photographs badly, and the color you see may not be an exact match for the item that arrives. Dimensions are approximate and may differ by an inch or so.

If the difference matters to you, the refund policy covers it. That is what it is for.

We do not warrant that product descriptions or any other content on this site are error free. If we find a mistake we correct it.

The site itself

We do not promise the site will always be available or free of errors. We can change or withdraw any part of it without notice.

Do not use the site to break the law, to harass anyone, to scrape or copy it wholesale, to interfere with its security, or to upload anything malicious. We can refuse service for any of those.

Our content

The text, layout and design of this site belong to The Soft Spot Co. Product photographs are supplied by our manufacturing partners and used under license. Do not reproduce any of it commercially without asking.

Where we link somewhere else, we are not responsible for what is there.

Disclaimer and limits

To the extent the law allows, products are sold as is, without warranties beyond those that cannot legally be excluded. Nothing here limits any right you have under consumer protection law that cannot be waived.

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim connected to an order is limited to what you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, United States, without regard to conflict of law rules. Disputes go to the state or federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona.
